What does it feel like?

During the microspear step you may feel a light prickling or tingling sensation - similar to tiny shards of glass lightly grazing the skin. It’s temporary. Most clients describe the overall treatment as relaxing. The sensation can persist for up to 72 hours as the microspears work within the skin, then naturally shed as your skin renews itself.

Is there any downtime?

Minimal. Most clients resume their normal routine the next day.  You may experience mild redness or dryness for 24–72 hours. You will not leave looking red or irritated.

When will I see results?

Most clients see an overall improvement and glow within five to seven days of each session, with results improving with increased frequency.

How many sessions do I need?

For optimal results, we recommend one session per week for four weeks, followed by maintenance.  Many clients notice visible improvement after a single session.

How do I prepare?

Avoid Botox and fillers for 14 days before your appointment, and avoid lasers, chemical peels, microneedling, and mesotherapy for seven days prior.

What should I avoid after my treatment?

For 72 hours after your session, avoid exfoliating products, retinoids, heavy sweating, and direct sun exposure. Avoid chemical peels or lasers for one week post-treatment.  Daily SPF is essential.

Who should not receive this treatment?

This treatment is not recommended for clients who are pregnant or nursing, have active open wounds or skin infections, have a severe nut allergy, or have received Botox, fillers, lasers, or chemical peels within the timeframes noted above.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Cellstory is suitable for most skin types including sensitive and acne-prone skin.
